Heartsaver® First Aid

The Heartsaver First Aid course is specially designed to train anyone who might be the first to respond in the workplace or community, and can be tailored to address the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. Provides training in basic first-aid procedures including the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA.

The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches:
          Illness & injury management in the first minutes until professional help arrives.
          General principles of first aid
          Medical Emergencies
          Injury Emergencies

Optional course add-ons:
          Bandaging Practice
          Splinting Practice
          Environmental Emergencies
          Adult / Child CPR with Mask
          Adult / Child AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
          Infant CPR with Mask

Course cost includes:
          Heartsaver First Aid with CPR and AED Student Workbook (80-1058)
          All materials necessary for course completion

Approximate course length:
          7 ½ hr (all components)
          6 ½ hr (without infant CPR)
          3 ½ hr (First Aid only, no CPR)
